The eCoVan Ultra Light succesfully passed the XL-test !

According to the French norm: NF EN 12642

The test force was realized by air cushions, located between tested element and strong supported frame.

   

During the test there was measured and observed:

– Deflection centre of panels

– Diagonals of rear frame
– Cracks/noise during applying load
– Deformation of the body elements (if visible) .

Conditions : 

– For side walls: apply 40% of the loading capacity => 2700 kg x 40% = 1080 kg
– For front walls: apply 50% of the loading capacity => 2700 kg x 50% = 1350 kg

Target : 

during test, maximum deformation must not exceed 300m
after test, maximum deferormation must not exceeed 20mm

Results

– Side wall 14 mm:
Maxi deformation: 126 mm
Remaining deformation: 12 mm

– Side wall 25 mm:
Maxi deformation: 101 mm
Remaining deformation: 7 mm

– Front wall 14 mm:
Maxi deformation: 89 mm
Remaining deformation: 11 mm

 

 

Conclusion : the eCoVan Ultra Light passed the XL test with distinction !
